Young starkid Ahan Shetty wants to earn his own place in the industry. He would like to work with his father in the future, but now is not the right time.
It is not a new phenomenon that the children of famous actors often appear in a film produced by their parents. But Ahan definitely didn’t want this. In fact, the 26-year-old says he doesn’t want this in the early years of his career.
“I don’t think I wanted to put that pressure on my father. I feel like when you work with family you tend to lose that sense of professionalism. You want to do everything right for them and agree to things faster. I don’t want the line between private life and work to blur.”
However, he is quick to add that he is looking forward to working with his father one day. “If my dad wants to be a producer on a movie I’m working on in the future, I’d love to. But right now it’s best that my family doesn’t get involved in what I’m doing,” Ahan said.
