The data provided by DHL Express also reflects a very dynamic reality in terms of destinations. The United States, France, Italy and the United Kingdom lead the list in terms of the number of shipments in 2021. This represents 37% of the total.
The options in terms of preferences and type of delivery that individuals claim from Spanish companies and businesses vary depending on the region of the world and their habits. Collection points are the majority option in the European Union: 51% of buyers prefer to go to these points to pick up their orders, arguing the convenience and flexibility they provide. On the other hand, 20% opt for delivery to a previously designated personal address (home, office, etc). On the other hand, in the United States the priority is the delivery service in a safe place. More than 90% of US citizens prefer this mode of delivery.
