Shubman Gill Records: Young Indian batsman Shubman Gill scored a brilliant 130 runs in the third match of the ODI series against Zimbabwe. Gill scored his first international century in his ninth ODI. He also played 11 test matches for India before this. He hit 15 fours and a six in this brilliant 97-ball inning. After this entry, Gill also broke a special record for master blaster Sachin Tendulkar.
In fact, Gill has now recorded the highest score by a batsman in an ODI against Zimbabwe in Zimbabwe. Before him this record was registered in the name of Sachin Tendulkar who scored 127 runs in 1998. But now Shubman Gill broke this record after 24 years and played a solid 130-run inning. Joins the club of Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul
After scoring a brilliant century in the third ODI against Zimbabwe in Harare, Shubman Gill joined the special club of alternate series captain KL Rahul and regular captain Rohit Sharma. Let us tell you that this was the first century of Gill’s international career that he scored in Zimbabwe. Previously, Rohit and Rahul had also done this in Zimbabwe itself. Rohit scored his first career international century in 2010 and Rahul in 2016 in Zimbabwe.
