He remained in prison for about two months. Now, in a recent interview, Raj Kundra talked about the impact this case had on his family.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Raj Kundra shared how Shilpa Shetty reacted when he came to know about this case. Raj said: “It was very terrible.” But luckily we know each other very well. When someone has told me something about him, I know how much I can believe them. When she heard about the case, she laughed and said it wasn’t true. If you live together at home and there is such a thing as porn involved, then you know it.
Raj further said, “Shilpa’s career was badly affected during this time.” Many contracts and television works were taken away from him.
Raj Kundra was trolled a lot on social media. Because of him, the children and Shilpa were often targeted by people. Raj said, “All this happened because I married a celebrity.” If this had not happened, I don’t think even half of it would have been lost. I think he didn’t attack me, but my wife and children. You attack me, no problem, but not her.
