The film ‘Jawaan’ starring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles has been running faster than a bullet at the box office since the first day of its release and collecting huge collections. The enthusiasm for the film goes beyond the audience’s heads. The film made many records not only domestically but also abroad. Amid all this, the film recorded a huge box office hit in the second weekend too and with this, ‘Jawaan’ was close to crossing the Rs 500 crore mark. The Atlee-directed film Jawaan created a huge buzz at the box office. Only 12 days have passed since the release of the film and it has surprised everyone with its huge collection. Although there was a decline in the film’s earnings on weekdays after the first week, the film regained momentum at the box office with the start of the second week. While the film grossed Rs 31.8 crore on the second Saturday, an increase of 66.49 per cent, the film’s second Sunday collections increased by 15.88 per cent and earned Rs 36.85 crore. The first earnings figures from the second Monday or 12th day of the release of “Jawaan” are now available.
- According to Sacknilk’s early trend report, ‘Jawaan’ collected Rs 14 crore on the 12th day of its release, i.e. on the second Monday.
- With this, the total collection of ‘Jawaan’ in 12 days now stands at Rs 491.63 crore.
Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’ managed to earn less than half on second Monday as compared to second Sunday’s collection. However, it often happens that a film’s collection gets smaller on weekdays. But with this, “Jawaan” has now come very close to the Rs 500 crore mark. The film is also expected to cross this milestone on the 13th day of its release. Apart from the action thriller Jawan, directed by Atlee, many actors including Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Riddhi Dogra, Ejaz Khan, Priyamani and Sunil Grover have played important roles. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt also make a special cameo appearance in the film. This film was released in theaters on September 7th.
