Fans of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan gathered outside his Mumbai residence, Mannat, on Saturday night. They anticipated a traditional birthday greeting from the actor. However, the iconic home is currently undergoing renovations, raising questions about his customary fan interactions.
Shah Rukh Khan, who celebrates his birthday on November 2nd, typically appears on Mannat’s balcony to greet his admirers. The ongoing renovation work complicates this long-standing tradition.
Media reports confirm an alternative arrangement for fans. A dedicated fan meet is scheduled for November 2nd at Balgandharva Rangmandir in Bandra.
This event is expected to begin around 4 PM local time. Entry to the fan meet will require passes, which were reportedly distributed from the Red Chillies Entertainment office.
Despite the renovation work affecting the rear of Mannat, preparations are also underway at the residence itself. India Today reported that staff are cleaning the balcony located near the gate.
This suggests a possible dual celebration for the star’s birthday. Shah Rukh Khan might still greet fans from Mannat after the organized fan meet.
The actor recently hinted at this possibility during an #AskSRK session on X (formerly Twitter). When asked if he would appear at Mannat, he suggested fans should wear “hard caps.”
