Shah Rukh Khan: My Kids Must Not Feel Burdened by My Name

Shah Rukh Khan offered a revealing glimpse into his parenting philosophy regarding his children, Aryan and Suhana Khan, and their entry into Bollywood. The superstar shared his approach during a special “SRK Day” fan event in Mumbai. This gathering coincided with his 60th birthday celebration on November 2.

Responding to a fan’s question about the advice he imparts, Khan stated his reluctance to heavily guide creative individuals. He believes such instruction could impose an undue burden on them. This burden might stem from feeling obligated to comply because he is Shah Rukh Khan.

Khan highlighted that both Aryan and Suhana are pursuing their own career paths independently. Suhana is focused on acting, while Aryan is venturing into writing and direction. They largely manage their projects without direct intervention.

His role primarily involves offering his perspective when they seek his opinion. Khan provides feedback, whether positive or negative. He ultimately encourages them to make their own choices.

Sidharth Anand is directing “King.” Suhana Khan will star alongside her father in the film.

The film’s ensemble cast also includes Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Rani Mukerji. “King” is slated for release in 2026.
