The Seville club is looking for a central defender after the departure of Jules Koundé
Much of the market for Sevilla FC signings will focus on the central defense position, where for now he has only reached Marcao. The Brazilian defender has arrived at the club from Galatasary after paying 12 million euros. However, he will not be the only one to arrive, since currently the Sevilla club only has Rekik and the Brazilian to cover two very important positions.
The Monchi’s plan is that, at least, two more footballers arrive to cover this position. One of the most popular is Victor Nelson, Danish player who has been Marcao’s dance partner at the Galatasary. Badiashile, the defender that Sevilla FC wants together with Marcao
This footballer is none other than Frenchman Benoit Badiashile, who plays for AS Monaco. At 21, he is one of the most promising players in French football, being a fixture in France’s youth ranks and captain of the U21s. Many are the clubs that have been interested in signing him in recent months, but now everything seems to have been reduced to Sevilla FC.
Of course, it will not be an affordable signing. In fact, if he reaches Sánchez-Pizjuán, there are serious options that Badiashile will become the most expensive signing in the history of Sevilla FC. And it is that Monchi loves the player at all costs, because he knows that he could get a lot of economic profit from the sale of him in a few years. A situation similar to that of Koundé, for which an important investment was made that has been more than justified.
Sevilla FC offers two players to Monaco
Currently, Badiashile’s market value is 30 million euros and he has a contract with the Monegasque club until June 2024. That is why a very high financial offer will be necessary to get his services. However, Monchi would like to lower the price of the operation by offering several players. Specifically, two of them, who do not fit into Julen Lopetegui’s plans.
The first of these players is En-Nesyri, although everything seems to indicate that he is not to AS Monaco’s liking. The second is Suso, who just a few days ago returned to Sevilla FC after a bad season with injuries. Now, we just have to wait to see how the central defender’s future unfolds, and if he signs for Sevilla FC he will be the most expensive player in the club’s history, surpassing Rony Lopes, who also came from AS Monaco.
