Selling Sunset Reunion: Cast Feuds Intensify, Problems Unresolved

The Selling Sunset Season 9 reunion special aired Wednesday, November 5, addressing various ongoing cast disputes. Hosted by Tan France, the special brought together Chrishell Stause, Emma Hernan, Mary Bonnet, Amanza Smith, Chelsea Lazkani, Nicole Young, Bre Tiesi, Alanna Gold, Sandra Vergara, Jason Oppenheim, and Brett Oppenheim.

Despite attempts at reconciliation, many issues remained unresolved. The cast largely stayed at odds, leaving viewers questioning the future of the show.

Nicole Young faced scrutiny early in the reunion for comments made about Chrishell Stause’s late parents during a previous argument. Nicole claimed her remarks were a response to Chrishell repeatedly accusing her of drug use.

"Someone came against me and accused me, again, of drug use," Nicole stated. "I was showing there was a proven track record of projection."

She clarified her intent, saying, "I would never make fun of that or attack your parents or anyone’s. I’d like to apologize for the intention that was interpreted from my words."

Amanza Smith, Chelsea Lazkani, and Alanna Gold defended Chrishell, with Amanza calling Nicole’s comments "disgusting." Mary Bonnet, however, sided with Nicole, labeling the entire exchange as "cruel." Nicole refused to issue a direct apology despite being asked multiple times.

Jason Oppenheim provided an update on Nicole’s professional standing. He confirmed she had not left the brokerage but found it "healthy for her to step away from the office."

Nicole expressed her frustration with her limited role in the reunion. She previously shared on TikTok that she felt intentionally sidelined, stating, "I’ve never experienced anything so obvious in that the intention was not to give me an opportunity to speak."

Emma Hernan’s controversial on-again, off-again relationship with Blake Davis was another central conflict. Though not currently dating Blake at the time of the reunion, Emma defended her past decisions.

She acknowledged Blake "isn’t the nicest person" but highlighted an existing "bond" despite their tumultuous history. Emma explained, "I’m not saying he’s the person I’m going to marry. But I’ve had three boyfriends, and he’s the third."

Chrishell claimed many of her issues with Blake were not shown on screen. She described Blake’s relationship with Emma as a "toxic cycle" and explained her decision to distance herself from Emma.

Chelsea Lazkani weighed in, calling Emma’s relationship "toxic." She suggested Emma was "emotionally manipulated and brainwashed." Jason Oppenheim and Amanza Smith agreed that Emma struggled due to her relationship with Blake.

Emma was particularly upset that Chrishell had accused Blake of using racial slurs and mocking pronouns on social media after filming concluded. Chrishell asserted that Blake "proudly told me he openly uses the N-word."

Emma denied Chrishell’s specific accusations regarding Blake’s political views or comments on pronouns. She stated, "What was put online is not how he said it."

Chrishell apologized for posting the accusations on social media but maintained her disappointment that Emma continued dating someone with "those ideas." She added, "Every action I took was out of care and love for you." Emma, in turn, expressed frustration that Chrishell did not support her when she needed a friend.

Mary Bonnet intervened in the discussion, criticizing Chrishell for publicly revealing private details of Emma’s life. Mary questioned why Chrishell would abandon a friend she claimed to be worried about.

This sparked a broader debate about Chrishell’s use of social media to air private matters. Bre Tiesi confronted Chrishell for publicly accusing her of badmouthing Bre and her partner, G Flip, an accusation Bre denied. The argument became heated, leading host Tan France to call for a lunch break.

The reunion also touched on Chelsea Lazkani’s financial dispute with Mary Bonnet. Chelsea clarified that she receives "no support" from her ex-husband, Jeff Lazkani, countering Mary’s prior suggestions. Chelsea emphasized that all financial responsibility for her household and children rests solely with her.

Mary appeared surprised by Chelsea’s revelation about not receiving child support, to which Chelsea noted it was "public" information.

The reunion concluded with Mary expressing concerns about the office dynamic. She stated, "I don’t think the office dynamic is healthy. I think there’s a lot of conflict." Mary concluded that it distracts and affects productivity, leaving the ultimate decision on how to resolve the issues to Jason and Brett Oppenheim.
