The communicator, lawyer and ex-beauty queen Selinee Mendez This Sunday she registered her candidacy as deputy for constituency number 1 of the National District in the Fuerza del Pueblo, a party led by former President Leonel Fernández.
Miss Dominican Republic 1998 announced the news through a publication on her Instagram account, where she thanked her parents for accompanying her to the National House of the FP to carry out her registration.
“Today I start this new path in my life, hand in hand with the best man in the world. Thanks to my parents for supporting me unconditionally in each of the projects. I love you daddy,” said Méndez.
The television producer also appreciated that this political organization opened its doors and promised to legislate in favor of the family if elected.
“I take this step with the illusion set in my country, with the conviction that we can do better. From the congress I will assume a position in defense of values and the family, because ‘It is time for new ideas'”, he concluded.
