Saudi Games 2022: Pakistani girl wins gold medal

Riyadh: The Saudi Games 2022 held in the city of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia came to an end, in which a Pakistani table tennis player won the gold medal.

According to Saudi Arabia’s official news agency SPA, Pakistani player Saroj Sajid Hussain won the gold medal in the table tennis competition at the Saudi Games 2022.

According to Arab News, this announcement was made by the Pakistani Embassy in Riyadh. Saroj Sajid is based in Saudi Arabia where he participated in the Vision 2030 Games.

The purpose of these competitions was to provide sporting opportunities to the youth to create a new generation of athletes. To pay tribute to the female Pakistani player Saroj Sajid, the Pakistani Embassy has congratulated her in one of her tweets.

“Congratulations, we are proud of Saroj Sajid Hussain studying at Pakistan International School Al Khobar, Saroj has won gold medal in table tennis at Saudi Games 2022,” the embassy wrote.

According to Saudi media, athletes participated in 45 different sports events at the Saudi Games 2022. The Saudi Games were hosted by Riyadh.
