Kuwait City: Kuwait has lifted travel bans in other Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia.
According to Arab media reports, the Kuwait government has granted conditional permission to citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, including the Kingdom, to come to Kuwait.
Kuwait has opened its land and sea borders for passengers receiving two doses of Pfizer, AstraZeneca and Moderna or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, according to the report.
Kuwaiti officials say that a Corona test conducted by GCC residents within 72 hours of their arrival in Kuwait will be negatively acceptable. Passengers must submit a certified vaccination report in an application called Kuwait Traveler.
The certified Corona vaccine report can also be submitted to the approved centers of the interested agencies.
Previously, the Kuwaiti government only allowed Saudis with blood relatives to enter Kuwait, in which case both doses of the vaccine were mandatory.
The Saudis had to quarantine the entry into Kuwait, but now that the travel ban has been lifted, registration has been declared necessary in the PCR report, the vaccination report and the Kuwait passenger platform.
