Riyadh: In order to make Saudi Arabia a modern and developed country of the world, the work of making Jeddah a unique type of commercial, residential and tourist center has started. The Crown Prince has taken important steps in this regard.
According to details, Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman has released the master plan of Jeddah Downtown project, which aims to create an international front in the heart of the city.
According to the Saudi news agency SPA, the estimated cost of the project will be 75 billion riyals.
The Crown Prince has announced a master plan for the Downtown Jeddah project aimed at developing all regions and cities of the kingdom and fulfilling the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Downtown Jeddah project will generate an annual revenue of 47 billion riyals for the country’s economy by 2030.
The Jeddah Project will consist of 4 major world attractions. Opera houses, museums, sports stadiums and ocean basin and coral farms will be built. In addition, 10 leisure centers and tourist centers will be set up.
With the implementation of the Downtown Jeddah project, modern residential areas will be created in the city. 17,000 houses and hotels of various levels will also be constructed. Hotels will have more than 27 rooms.
The Downtown Jeddah project will also create world-class ports and attractive tourist attractions.
A chain of hotels, restaurants, national and international cafes will also be built, various marketing facilities will be provided. More than 500 engineers and consultants participated in the preparation of the master plan.
