Rajesh Kumar, co-star of the late actor Satish Shah in the popular TV show ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai,’ has expressed profound grief following Shah’s passing. Kumar described Satish Shah as a father figure in his life.
The actor shared his sorrow on Instagram, calling Shah’s demise a significant loss for the Indian entertainment industry.
“This is the worst time for me,” Kumar wrote. “I still cannot accept that Satish ji is no more. All I can say is that it feels like I have lost my father.”
He remembered Shah as a person “full of humor, who carved out a distinct identity as an actor.” Kumar added, “This is a huge loss for the industry and our (Sarabhai family).”
Kumar concluded his tribute by affectionately calling Shah “Kaka” and writing, “RIP Kaka.” He urged everyone to pray for Shah’s departed soul.
The entire Indian entertainment industry is mourning the loss of Satish Shah. Notable figures such as Karan Johar, Farah Khan, and Johnny Lever have extended their condolences.
Satish Shah’s body will be available for viewing at his home in Mumbai on October 26, from 10 AM to 11 AM.
The final rites will take place at the Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai at 12 PM on the same day.
