Indios de San Francisco reciben integración de varios jugadores en prácticas

The Indians received yesterday the integration of several stellar players, who immediately participated in the training held yesterday afternoon at the Mario Ortega roof in San Francisco de Macorís.

Among the new figures reported to the club are imports Breein Tyree and Troy Baxter Jr. as well as the top pick from last year’s rookie draft AJ Bramah.

Also in attendance were natives Jerome Frink and Adonis López, as well as rookie Juan Jr. Rosario, who was the second pick in last year’s rookie draft.

Although he will only have a few days with the full group, manager Richard Ortega was satisfied with the integration of the team’s new players and said that he expects the arrival of the others this week.

“We know that we won’t have much time to group together as we wish, but little by little we will be able to continue improving in training and we hope to achieve chemistry as a team, which is very important in this type of tournament, since most of these players do not know each other in the field” said Ortega

“There are still pieces missing that we know will arrive this week and of course we will continue to take advantage of the time on the court before the start of the tournament on May 24,” he added.

The San Francisco Indians will play their first game of the 2022 season on Wednesday, May 25, when they receive the visit of the Santo Domingo Suns, in a game scheduled for 9:00 p.m. at the Mario Ortega roof in San Francisco. .
