Samsung quietly unveiled its latest entry-level smartphone, the Galaxy A07. This new model brings several important upgrades. It also promises longer support compared to the Galaxy A06, which came out in 2024.
The Samsung Galaxy A07 uses the MediaTek Helio G99 chipset. This chip first appeared in 2022. It offers 4G connectivity. The chip is made with 6nm technology. Its Cortex-A76 CPU cores run up to 2.2 GHz. A Mali-G57 graphics chip helps with gaming. This is a clear step up from the 12nm Helio G85 in the Galaxy A06.

A standout feature is the Galaxy A07’s software. It ships with Android 15 and Samsung’s One UI 7. Samsung promises six years of software updates for this phone. This is a big improvement over the Galaxy A06, which only got two years of updates. The phone also has an IP54 rating. This means it offers good protection against dust. It can also handle water splashes from any direction.

The Galaxy A07 features an LCD screen. This display now has a 90 Hz refresh rate. This makes visuals appear much smoother. The resolution stays at 720p+. For selfies, it includes an 8-megapixel front camera. This camera has an f/2.0 aperture.

On the back, the main camera is 50 megapixels. It has an f/1.8 aperture. This camera can record 1080p video at 30 frames per second. There is also a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery. It supports 25 W charging. You will find a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB-C 2.0 port. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3. All these features fit into a slim body. It measures 7.6 mm thick and weighs 184 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy A07 is now available in Ukraine. It costs 4,700 Hryvnia for the model with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. Prices can vary by region. For example, the Indonesian version is priced lower at 1,400,000 Rupiah. This difference often comes down to local import taxes.
