Samsung Announces Galaxy Unpacked Event for July 9

Get ready for the latest Galaxy Unpacked event, happening on July 9, 2025. Samsung just dropped a new teaser, hinting at the release of their latest foldable smartphones.

The event will take place in Brooklyn, New York, at 10:00 AM local time, which is 9:00 PM in some parts of the world. You can catch the live stream on Samsung’s official website and YouTube channel.

Samsung’s keeping quiet about how many devices they’ll unveil, but they did mention that the next Galaxy series will make AI-powered interfaces a reality, with cutting-edge hardware to match.

The teaser ends with a promo phrase – “Ultra Unfolds” – which might be a nod to the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7, Galaxy Z Flip7, and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE.

According to tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy Z Fold7 will be the thinnest foldable phone in the world, measuring 8.9mm when folded and 3.9mm when unfolded. That’s thinner than the current record-holder, the OPPO Find N5.

As for processing power, the Galaxy Z Fold7 is expected to run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite For Galaxy, with an 8-core CPU reaching speeds of up to 4.47 GHz. The Galaxy Z Flip7, on the other hand, might use Samsung’s newly released Exynos 2500 chip, with a 10-core CPU and a top speed of 3.30 GHz.

There’s also talk of a budget-friendly version, the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE, which could use last year’s Exynos 2400 chip, with a top speed of 3.21 GHz.

Samsung might also unveil their new Galaxy Watch8 series at the event.
