It’s been a while since Sana Khan bid adieu to the entertainment industry, but she’s keeping herself busy with her YouTube channel, where she’s hosting a podcast during the holy month of Ramadan. The podcast has seen a string of interesting guests, including Jannat Zuber and Urvashi Dholakia, and the latest to join the list is Sambhavna Seth. Sambhavna and Sana have a history of working together, having been part of the reality show “Big Boss,” which is where their friendship blossomed. In the podcast, the two ladies delved into a range of topics, from Ramadan to their experiences with social media.
During the conversation, Sambhavna revealed that she has observed the ritual of fasting, or “roza,” twice in her life. When Sana asked her about her take on Ramadan and how she celebrates it, Sambhavna shared, “I have a lot of Muslim friends, and I make it a point to visit them on one of the days during Ramadan to break their fast with them. It’s a special day for me because when you’re friends with someone, you naturally become a part of their culture.” She reminisced about the good times she’s had during these visits, saying, “I’ve really enjoyed those experiences.”
Sambhavna Seth’s Experience with Fasting
Sambhavna further elaborated on her experience with fasting, saying, “I kept roza twice in my life, many years ago. We would all fast together during the month of Ramadan. At that time, I didn’t think of it as fasting during Ramadan; I just did it because my friends were doing it, and I wanted to be a part of it.” Her words reflected the strong bond she shares with her friends and the importance of being there for each other, regardless of religious affiliations.
Sambhavna Seth’s Journey to Vegetarianism
The conversation also touched upon Sambhavna’s decision to adopt a vegetarian diet, a significant shift from her earlier non-vegetarian preferences. Hailing from a Punjabi family, Sambhavna confessed that she was once a hardcore non-vegetarian and enjoyed a variety of non-veg dishes, especially on weekends. However, she has now turned vegetarian. She shared, “During Ramadan, I would often visit my friends and enjoy their company, but now that I’ve turned vegetarian, I don’t cook non-veg dishes anymore. Although, I must say, my cooking is so delicious that if I were to cook non-veg, there would be a crowd of people waiting to devour it!” Her humorous comment reflected her passion for cooking and her love for good food, while also highlighting her commitment to her new dietary choices.
