Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan’s friendship often makes headlines. Salman Khan recently said that Shahrukh Khan has been persecuting him ever since. After Shah Rukh Khan announced Atlee’s ‘Pathan’, ‘Dunky’ and ‘Jawan’, Salman made sure to actively promote films whenever possible. The actor, who presented IIFA 2022, made sure to mention Shah Rukh and his upcoming releases during the main night of the awards show.
In a video, Salman jokingly said in response to Maniesh Paul’s question that Shahrukh Khan is after him. He said: “There is a man behind me and his name is Shahrukh Khan. Hey kabse mere peche hai, kab… (There is only one man behind me and his name is Shahrukh Khan. He has been chasing Me for centuries).
He concluded his sentence, “Hamara pathan aur hamara jawan, tayyar hai (Our pathan and our jawan are ready).” His comment left the audience howling and excited. Salman had announced Pathan’s release date earlier this year. He had also announced the Jawan earlier this week. While Pathan will mark Shah Rukh’s return to the big screen after four years, Jawan is his first pan-Indian film. Jawan is a film directed by Atlee, scheduled for release on June 2, 2023.
