RTVE To Broadcast Paris Paralympic Games After Finalizing Agreement
Spanish public television, RTVE, will air the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games after reaching an agreement to obtain the broadcast rights. The news comes after a protracted soap opera centered on the dispute between RTVE and the company Enjoy Television, which held the broadcast rights.
The Spanish public television entity will broadcast the Games without interruption, marking the seventh consecutive occurrence. The agreement means Spanish Paralympic athletes will receive exposure through Spanish public television. Some 120 athletes will participate, and the classification system for sports including wheelchair tennis, judo, and weightlifting is still pending.
