Redmi has launched its K90 Pro Max flagship smartphone in China, integrating a unique 2.1 channel speaker system co-engineered with Bose and powered by Qualcomm’s high-performance Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
The device’s audio system stands out with two main speakers and a subwoofer, positioned on the rear camera module. Tuned by Bose, this setup aims to deliver high-quality sound with deep bass and rich detail. Two additional speakers are placed near the earpiece and the USB-C port, respectively.
Under the hood, the K90 Pro Max features the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, boasting processing speeds up to 4.60 GHz. It is equipped with a substantial 7,650 mAh silicon-carbon battery.
The battery supports rapid charging at 100 watts and 50-watt wireless charging. It also offers 22.5-watt reverse wireless charging to power other devices.
For photography, the smartphone includes a 50-megapixel main camera with a Light Fusion 950 sensor and optical image stabilization. This is complemented by a 50-megapixel periscope zoom camera offering 5x optical magnification and a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens with a 102-degree field of view.
The front of the device features a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Its 6.9-inch OLED display provides a 2,608 x 1,200 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, reaching a peak brightness of 3,500 Nits.
The screen is protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass and incorporates a 3D under-display fingerprint sensor for security. The K90 Pro Max runs on HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16, and carries an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
The phone is available in black and white versions, which feature a frosted glass back. A blue variant comes with a denim-like fabric finish.
Pricing for the Redmi K90 Pro Max starts at approximately $560 for the 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage model. A higher-tier 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage configuration is priced around $672. The top-tier standard model, with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, costs approximately $742.
Redmi also introduced a Champion Edition in collaboration with Lamborghini Automobiles Racing Team. This special edition includes 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage, retailing for approximately $770.
