Realme is gearing up to launch its new flagship smartphone, the GT 7, in China on April 23, 2025. The device will feature a significant upgrade in battery capacity, boasting an impressive 7,200 mAh battery.
Upgraded Battery and Charging
The GT 7 will support 100 W fast charging, making it one of the top flagship smartphones in 2025 in terms of battery capacity. For comparison, its predecessor, the GT 6, had a 5,500 mAh battery.
Design and Build
The GT 7 will have a slim profile, measuring just 8.25 mm in thickness and weighing 203 grams. Realme claims that the GT 7 will be the first smartphone to feature a new thermal design, with a back made from a material called ‘Graphene Fiberglass Fusion.’ This material is said to dissipate heat six times better than glass.

Performance and Features
The GT 7 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, a 3nm processor with a maximum clock speed of 3.73 GHz. It is expected to feature:
- A 144 Hz display panel made by BOE
- An ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the display
- A plastic frame
- IP69 rating for dust and water resistance
The pricing for the GT 7 has not been announced yet. The GT 6 was launched in 2024 with a starting price of 2,799 CNY.
