Ram Charan’s ‘Peddi’ Song ‘Chikiri’ Promo Drops, Director Reveals ‘Beautiful Woman’ Meaning

The promo for ‘Chikiri’ was unveiled on social media today. It offers a glimpse into the film’s visuals, featuring mountains and village scenes. Ram Charan is seen dancing joyfully in the video.

Director Buchi Babu Sana recently clarified the meaning of the song’s title. He explained that in the hero’s village, ‘Chikiri’ is an affectionate term. It is used by men to refer to beautiful women.

For his role in ‘Peddi,’ Ram Charan underwent significant physical changes. Janhvi Kapoor portrays a character named Achiyamma. The film also features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma in important roles.

‘Peddi’ is slated for a theatrical release on March 27, 2026. This date coincides with Ram Charan’s birthday.
