Rajamouli Exposes Odisha's Poor Condition Amidst Breathtaking Beauty

As the sun sets over the rolling hills of Odisha, a lone figure emerges, trekking up the highest peak in the state – Deomali Trail. It’s none other than acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli, taking a break from his upcoming movie with Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. He can’t help but express his awe at the breathtaking view from the top, but his joy is short-lived.

Rajamouli takes to social media to share a video from his trek, saying, “The experience of trekking alone to Odisha’s highest and most magnificent peak, Deomali, was absolutely incredible. The view from the top was truly mesmerizing.” But his post takes a turn, as he expresses his dismay at the litter scattered along the trail. “It’s disheartening to see trash scattered all over the path. Such ancient wonders deserve better. A little civic sense can make a huge difference… every tourist should take their trash back with them to help preserve these places.”

The filmmaker’s frustration is palpable, and he’s not alone in his concern. As news of his trek and the state of the trail spreads, fans and environmentalists alike begin to weigh in on social media, calling for greater responsibility among tourists and authorities to protect India’s natural wonders.

Meanwhile, Rajamouli’s upcoming film, rumored to be titled SSMB 29, has been making headlines. The team, including Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, arrived in Odisha earlier this month to shoot key scenes. Although the film’s title has not been officially announced, Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister Pratap Jena confirmed the cast and revealed that the shoot will take place in the state after the completion of Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’.

The excitement around SSMB 29 has been building, but the team faced a setback when a scene featuring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, both in wheelchairs, was leaked online. Although the filmmakers quickly acted to remove the video from social media, the damage was done. In response, Rajamouli and his team have implemented stricter security measures on set to prevent further leaks. As the shoot continues, fans can’t help but wonder what this highly anticipated film has in store. Will it live up to the hype, or will it surpass expectations? Only time will tell.
