The teams made up of Maite Camacho, Esmeralda Ramírez and Bethania Almánzar (Banreservas), for women, and Ezequiel Toribio-César Díaz and José Infante (Puñal), for men, were crowned champions of the III Villa Tapia Sand Volleyball Tournament “Pre -Holy Week 2022”, which successfully concluded on Sunday with a special dedication to Mireya Luis.
Camacho, Ramírez and Almánzar obtained the champion trophy and 40 thousand pesos after defeating “Las Primas” Esmarlin Báez, Stephany Fernández and Shelly Solano 21-15 in the final, who were awarded 20 thousand. Third place went to Mariloly de Moya, Lesly Polanco and Nallelyn Taveras (EMS-Sport), who beat Ingrid Matos-Gissell Santos-Franchesca Ureña (Las Elites) 21-16 in the consolation match.
On his side, Toribio, Díaz and Infante, the representative of the municipality of Puñal, Santiago, defeated Enmnuel Antigua, Kelvin Abreu and David Caraballo (E-Sport) 26-24 in a vibrant match for first position.
The current monarchs of the tournament, which is organized by the Hermanas Mirabal Province Volleyball Association, chaired by José Francisco Fernández, received 40 thousand pesos and 20 for the runners-up.
José Reinoso, Jeison Reinoso and Cristian Rodríguez were third and were awarded ten thousand pesos and five thousand to the occupants of fourth place, Jesús Marte-Carlos Gómez-Robert Ramos (Body Guard).
