Professional League: Sarmiento took a breath with a good win against Argentinos

Sarmiento, located in the relegation zone, caught some air by beating Argentinos 2-0 in Junín, in a duel that was defined by goals from Manuel Mónaco and Lucas Melano.

Argentinos now has 14 points in the championship, while Sarmiento reached 12 points although he continues in the relegation zone, by averages, but he has Platense, Atlético Tucumán and Central Córdoba within range.

The first half had passages dominated by both teams, although at the beginning the Argentines were better with the good footing of their players and betting on the attack on the right sector. However, Sarmiento – hand in hand with the youthful Manuel Mónaco – began to complicate the last line of Argentinos and had the clearest situations.

It was precisely Monaco who opened the scoring after stacking three rivals diagonally towards their skillful leg and pulling off a soft but low shot that went in next to the goalkeeper’s post.

Sarmiento ordered himself and dominated one of the best rivals in the Professional League. And he found the second goal, after a great run by Lucas Melano, who defined with great category before the departure of Lucas Lanzillota.
