Prime Minister of Spain's unique advice to citizens not to wear ties to save electricity

Madrid: The Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez has presented a unique recipe of not wearing a tie to save energy.

According to foreign media, this appeal has been made by the Spanish Prime Minister at a time when the gas crisis in the European Union is rising due to the Russia-Ukraine war.

Speaking at a press conference in Madrid, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said that his government will take immediate steps to save energy so that dependence on Russian gas can be minimized in view of the attack on Ukraine.

He said that I myself am not wearing a tie and I have instructed my ministers, government officials also not to wear a tie, I also ask the employees of private institutions to do the same to save energy.

The Spanish prime minister said that by doing this, they would feel less heat, which would lead to energy savings as air conditioners would run less.

Pedro Sanchez said that a new plan to save energy will be presented by the government next week.

It should be noted that European countries are more dependent on Russia for energy, however, as a result of the Russia-Ukraine war, sanctions have been imposed on Russia by the European Union.

In response, Russia has also reduced gas supplies to European countries, due to which they are facing an energy crisis and all European countries are taking various measures to save energy and reduce dependence on Russia.
