Police Say Actress Divya Suresh Drove Car in Bengaluru Hit-and-Run

Bengaluru police have released new information in a hit-and-run case that could significantly impact Kannada actress Divya Suresh. Authorities now allege that the actress was driving the car involved in the incident several weeks ago.

Police officials stated on Friday that the vehicle involved in the collision is registered under Divya Suresh’s name. The hit-and-run occurred on the morning of October 4 in Bengaluru.

According to the complaint, a speeding black car struck a motorcycle carrying three women: Kiran, Anusha, and Aneetha. The female driver of the car allegedly fled the scene immediately after the impact.

Kiran, 25, and Anusha, 24, sustained minor injuries and did not require hospitalization. However, Aneetha, 33, suffered a broken leg and underwent surgery at BGS Hospital.

Kiran filed a formal complaint with the police on October 7. Investigators reviewed CCTV footage from the area during their inquiry.

The footage reportedly showed that the car belonged to Divya Suresh. Police claim the actress was allegedly behind the wheel at the time of the accident. A senior police officer confirmed that the investigation into the case is ongoing.
