The visitors secured the victory in the 10th round of the season, overcoming a stalemate at halftime. Penafiel’s clinical finishing, particularly in the later stages, proved decisive after both sides committed errors.

Clรกudio Silva sealed Penafiel’s victory in the first minute of stoppage time, deflecting a shot after a corner to make the score 3-1.

The match was played at Estรกdio do FC Vizela before an attendance of 1,694 spectators. Yellow cards were issued to รlvaro Santos, Jean-Pierre Rhyner, Sรฉry, and Francisco Ferreira during the game.
