PayPal has been refunding return costs up to 12 times a year for years. However, this is over, or at least it will be from November 27, 2022, so the company explained.

PayPal will no longer offer the return cost reimbursement service and to accept requests for reimbursement of shipping costs. This service was launched in 2019 and allowed consumers to request a refund of up to 12 shipments per year and up to an amount of 25 euros for each one, but only if you paid with PayPal.

The company has explained that “As of November 27, 2022, PayPal will no longer offer the Return Cost Reimbursement service and will no longer accept shipping cost refund requests. Please be sure to submit eligible claims by this date to ensure they are received and reviewed as usual.”.

Digital experts do not rule out the possibility that customers have used the free service too often and that the company has decided that it does not want to bear the costs. The function of PayPal has so far saved up to 300 euros per customer per year.

When the company was asked about the question, it replied that “EAt PayPal we are constantly updating and developing new offers for our customers. Sometimes certain services need to be discontinued as part of these larger changes.”to the Caschy’s Blog,
