The brand does not provide a specific date for the availability of the new NFC Pay Strap and few details are known about the specifications.

The announcement was made by Raghu Reddy, Xiaomi’s commercial director, on his Twitter account, which includes one of the first available images of the bracelets. In this you can see a smart watch strap with the NFC logo engraved on it.
At the same time, the brand also presented alliances with some retailers and banks that will make this feature possible. So far, there is no confirmation that more banks and retailers will join the Chinese brand in the near future.
In his post, Raghu Reddy is very excited about the news, even stating that this is “the future of contactless payments” and that it will be available soon.
Reddy adds that Xiaomi NFC Pay Strap will offer compatibility with the brand’s Mi Pay application.
