Pawan Kalyan, actor and Andhra Pradesh’s deputy chief minister, was spotted at Hyderabad airport with his son Mark in his arms after returning from Singapore. Pawan looked calm and protective, holding Mark tightly as they made their way through the airport. Mark’s school in Singapore’s River Valley area had caught fire just days before, but thankfully, everyone is safe now.
Pawan was accompanied by his wife Anna Lezhneva and daughter Polena Anjana Pawanova. A video of them at the airport has gone viral on social media. The fire broke out in a three-story building where kids were attending a cooking, theater, and robotics workshop. Emergency services, including the Singapore Civil Defense Force, rushed to the scene.
Details of the Fire
The incident occurred near Singapore’s central business district on River Valley Road. About 30 kids were at the workshop when the fire started. Singapore’s Home Minister K Shanmugam confirmed one 10-year-old girl died, and around 20 kids were injured. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Mark’s Condition
Mark suffered burns on his hands and feet and had trouble breathing due to smoke inhalation. Pawan Kalyan told the media that Mark will need a bronchoscopy. He warned that the damage from smoke inhalation can be long-lasting. Pawan was visibly concerned about his son’s health as he held him close at the airport.
The incident has raised concerns about safety measures in place at such workshops. Authorities are looking into how the fire started and what can be done to prevent similar incidents in the future.
