Pacheta becomes Villarreal’s new coach

Villarreal CF has made a momentous decision in its search for a new coach. After an extensive evaluation process and meetings with several renowned candidates, the club has made the decision to appoint José Rojo Martín, better known as “Pacheta”, as its new strategist.

After firing Quique Setién last Monday, Villarreal set about finding a leader who can lead the team into the upcoming season. Discussions have been held with several prominent technicians over the course of this week, including former Real Madrid player Raúl González Blanco. The list of candidates included such well-known names as Marcelo Gallardo, Julen Lopetegui, Quique Sánchez Flores and Graham Potter. However, after a careful selection process, it turns out that Pacheta is the chosen man.

Pacheta becomes Villarreal’s new coach

The official announcement of this decision is scheduled for the following day and if everything goes according to plan, Pacheta would be ready to take the helm of the team from next Monday in the sports city of Miralcamp. Despite tough competition from Raúl González Blanco, Villarreal sees in Pacheta a motivating coach who can adapt to the club’s style of play despite his less prominent media profile compared to the former footballer.

At 55, Pacheta will bring a solid 14 years of experience on the bench, having coached teams such as Numancia, Oviedo, Cartagena, Korona Kielce, Hércules, Ratchaburi, Elche, Huesca and Valladolid. His career in technical management is a valuable asset that could give Villarreal stability and direction next season.

Villarreal fans are waiting with great anticipation for the official announcement of Pacheta as the club’s new helmsman and hope that his leadership and experience will be the key to new successes next season.
