Ozzy Osbourne documentary coming to Paramount Plus in 2025 after final Black Sabbath concert

Paramount Plus works in documentary 'Ozzy Osbourne: No escape from Now'

In 2025, Ozzy Osbourne will bid farewell to the stage, but that’s not all – Paramount Plus is preparing a documentary about the legendary musician, titled “Ozzy Osbourne: No escape from Now.” This documentary will be released after the last Ozzy concert with Black Sabbath, as that event will be recorded and included in the film.

The documentary will explore Ozzy’s personality beyond his public image, revealing the devastating setbacks he has faced since his fateful fall in 2019. It will show how music continues to play a central role in Ozzy’s life, despite his health problems and Parkinson’s diagnosis. His mischievous sense of humor remains intact, and the film will showcase that.

The documentary, led by Bafta winner Tania Alexander, began filming in 2022, when Black Sabbath recorded their thirteenth studio album, “Patient Number 9.” Although there is no release date yet, it’s confirmed that it will be after Ozzy’s final performance with Black Sabbath. In fact, that historic show will be part of the documentary, which will continue filming during the summer as Ozzy prepares for his last performance with his Black Sabbath companions at Villa Park in Birmingham on July 5.

Documentary will show how Ozzy has lived in recent years with health affectations

The film will delve into Ozzy’s life, showing how he has coped with his health issues and the impact of his Parkinson’s diagnosis. It will also highlight the importance of music in his life and how it has helped him through difficult times. With the documentary, fans can expect an intimate look at Ozzy’s life, beyond his public persona.

As Ozzy prepares to say goodbye to the stage, this documentary will be a fitting tribute to his legacy. With its release scheduled for after his final performance, it will be a bittersweet moment for fans, who will get to see the man behind the music one last time.
