Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit’s recent show in Toronto has sparked significant controversy among fans. Event organizers have now issued a statement to address widespread dissatisfaction.
Fans quickly took to social media to complain about the ‘Dil Se… Madhuri’ live event. They cited a delayed start and criticized the show for not matching advertised expectations.
Many attendees described the performance as more of a “talk show” than a concert. Allegations also surfaced that Dixit herself arrived considerably late.
True Sound Live Limited, the organizing company, stated that social media misunderstandings are entirely misleading. They insist the event began on schedule.
Initial performances featured singers from Indian Idol, according to the organizers. The overall program reportedly followed its predetermined schedule.
However, True Sound Live Limited clarified that Madhuri Dixit’s late appearance was due to misinformation from her own management team.

The planned format for the show included a question-and-answer session at 8:30 PM, followed by Dixit’s 60-minute live performance. Organizers state their production team was ready on time.
However, Dixit’s management reportedly provided incorrect call time information. She arrived around 10:00 PM, causing the performance sequence to be delayed.
Organizers stated this delay was entirely beyond their control. They emphasized that all contractual arrangements for stage, lighting, sound, and audience management were fulfilled.
True Sound Live Limited urged fans to review available video evidence. These videos purportedly show Dixit’s stage presence and performance clearly.
The company claimed to possess substantial proof of the show’s professional execution.

Backstage issues also contributed to the confusion, according to organizers. Some personnel, including one named Shreya Gupta, were reportedly busy recording personal videos. This hindered timely coordination.
Organizers suggested that better coordination at that moment could have potentially averted the delays.
The event, held on November 2 at Toronto’s Great Canadian Casino Resort, drew a large Indian audience. Despite organizers’ claims, many fans expressed disappointment online.
Some attendees called the experience a “waste of time and money.” Others reiterated that it felt more like a “chat show.”
True Sound Live Limited extended gratitude to all attendees. They acknowledged audience sentiments regarding the experience and pledged to prevent similar misunderstandings in future events.
