The tech world is buzzing with the upcoming launch of OPPO’s latest flagship smartphone, the Find X8s. This device is set to make history as the first phone to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chip. A recent teaser poster has given us a glimpse into what makes the Find X8s special.
Design and Display
The phone boasts a compact 6.32-inch screen with super-slim bezels on all sides. Images of the device show off its sleek design, with a focus on minimalism.
Performance and Battery
Under the hood, the Dimensity 9400+ chip offers a top processing speed of 3.73 GHz. It will come with four different memory configurations: 12 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 512 GB, 16 GB + 512 GB, and 16 GB + 1 TB. The phone also packs a large 5,700 mAh battery, supporting 80 W fast charging and 50 W wireless charging.
Software and Durability
The Find X8s will run on ColorOS 15, based on Android 15. It also features IP68/69 water and dust resistance, protecting the device in high-pressure water at up to 80 degrees Celsius.
Camera Capabilities
OPPO has partnered with Hasselblad to enhance the phone’s photography capabilities. The Find X8s features a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope zoom camera.
The Find X8s will be launched on April 10, 2025, alongside other OPPO devices, including the Find X8s Plus, Find X8 Ultra, Pad 4 Pro tablet, Watch X2 Mini smartwatch, and Enco Free 4 earbuds.
