OnePlus is gearing up to launch a compact smartphone, the OnePlus 13s. This device boasts an impressive array of features, including a powerful new AI feature called AI Mind Space. What’s interesting is that this AI feature will only be available in India, making the OnePlus 13s a unique offering in that market.
The AI Mind Space feature is designed to work seamlessly with Google apps, and it comes with a range of tools, including AI Plus Mind, AI Search, AI VoiceScribe, AI Call Assistant, and AI Best Face 2.0. OnePlus has confirmed that the AI Mind Space feature will be exclusive to the OnePlus 13s, at least for now. The company plans to roll out this feature to other OnePlus 13 models later on, but it’s unclear if the feature will be available in its entirety in Western markets like the US and Europe.
This move could potentially backfire for OnePlus, as it may alienate some customers in Western markets who are eager to get their hands on the latest and greatest technology. In terms of design, the OnePlus 13s boasts a 6.3-inch screen with a high brightness of 1,600 Nit and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The device is also equipped with a feature called Aqua Touch Glove Mode, which allows users to interact with the touchscreen even when their fingers are wet or gloved.
The OnePlus 13s has a sleek design that’s reminiscent of the OnePlus 13T, which was launched earlier in China. The device weighs in at just 183 grams and is a mere 8.1 mm thick, making it comfortable to hold and use. The rear camera setup consists of two 50-megapixel cameras, while the front camera has a 32-megapixel sensor.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 13s is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, which has a clock speed of up to 4.32 GHz. The device also comes with a large 5,850 mAh battery that supports fast charging via SuperVOOC technology.
OnePlus has also included a dedicated Plus Key on the side of the device, which allows users to quickly access the AI Mind Space feature. The OnePlus 13s will be available in India on June 5, 2025, in three colors: Black Velvet, Pink Satin, and Green Silk. Pricing details will be announced later.
