Oliver Bearman now tallest Formula 1 driver surpassing Esteban Ocon

They destroy Ocon as the highest pilot of the Formula 1 grill

The French pilot, Esteban Ocon, was once recognized as the tallest driver in Formula 1, but with the arrival of new rookies and the exit of other pilots, the order of heights has changed. We’ve got an updated look at how the official ranking would shape up for the 2025 season.

Oliver Bearman is set to make his debut with the American team Haas, and his incorporation into the grid positions him as the tallest pilot, standing at 1.88 meters. Meanwhile, Ocon loses his top spot and descends to second place, measuring two centimeters less than Bearman, at 1.86 meters.

Another notable newcomer is Brazilian rookie Gabriel Bortoleto, who finds himself in sixth place, behind Mercedes’ George Russell, who stands at 1.85 meters, and shares the same height as Kick Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg, at 1.84 meters. Alpine’s Jack Doohan isn’t far behind, occupying the seventh position with a height of 1.83 meters.

Following Doohan are Max Verstappen, at 1.81 meters, Charles Leclerc, at 1.80 meters, Oscar Piastri, at 1.78 meters, and Madrid’s Carlos Sainz, who measures 1.78 meters, placing him in twelfth position among the tallest pilots on the grid. The arrivals of Liam Lawson and Kimi Antonelli don’t modify the top spots but do leave Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso, at 1.71 meters, and Lando Norris, at 1.70 meters, further down the list.

As the season gets underway, the height differences among pilots are quite notable, especially with the new rookies joining the grid. The traditional group photo taken at the start of the season will surely highlight these differences.
