According to media reports, Sohail Shaheen, a spokeswoman for the Taliban’s political office, said that the Taliban ensure the security of the Russian embassy in Kabul. “We have good relations with Russia,” he said in response to a question.

“In general, our policy is to ensure safe working conditions for Russian embassies and others. According to the Taliban, we will not pose a threat to Russian diplomats in Kabul,” the Afghan Taliban spokesman said.

On the other hand, after capturing Mazar-e-Sharif and the Bagram air base, the Taliban have now entered the Afghan capital, Kabul. The Afghan Interior Ministry has also confirmed that the Taliban are entering Kabul from all sides.

Following the resignation of President Ashraf Ghani and his departure from the country, chaos has spread in Kabul, people have gone out to withdraw money from banks and there are serious traffic jams on the roads.

Confirming Ashraf Ghani’s departure from the country, the Afghan executive director said that Ashraf Ghani had left Afghanistan, adding that Dr. Abdullah Abdullah used the word “former president” for Ashraf Ghani.

The Afghan Defense Minister also responded by saying that Ashraf Ghani had left us captive and escaped.

The Taliban have also announced a general amnesty for Afghan officials and troops and have ensured that no retaliation will be taken against anyone.

The Taliban have made it clear that hospitals and emergency services in Kabul will not stop.
