In an interview with Radio Times, Deborah Chow talked about the chances of seeing a season 2 come true. Although she reiterated that Obi-Wan Kenobi was a limited series, she admitted that there were more things to tell about a character as legendary as Obi-Wan.

“You know, we always designed this series as a limited series. So it’s not some kind of adventure of the week. It’s a big story with a beginning, a middle and an end. So I think this story was made to stand on its own… I mean, there are of course other stories you could tell. There’s obviously another 10 years before we get to A New Hope, and with a character like Obi-Wan Kenobi, I think just seeing him riding across the sand is interesting at times. So who knows? It’s hard to say right now, but that wasn’t the intention. »
