The Granada-born Nuria Párrizas continued sweetly to overcome the French Alizé Cornet in the first round of the Adelaide 2 tournament by a double 6-4.
Both tennis players conceded the same number of break balls (10), but it was Párrizas who scored two ‘breaks’ ahead in a match in which they broke serve up to eight times.
His next rival will be known after the conclusion of the match he will face this Tuesday the Russian Luidmila Samsonova (8) with the Egyptian Mayar Sherif.
