Moss played for the Vikings for seven seasons (1998-2004), where he had his most successful years in the NFL. He was later traded to the Oakland Raiders and played for several other teams, including the Patriots, although he did not achieve a championship ring during his time in New England.

Moss has decided to make his illness public to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research.
