The Dominican Natti Natasha premiered on Thursday accompanied by a video the bachata version of her most recent song, “La falta que me haces”, dedicated to her partner and promoter Raphy Pina, sentenced to prison in Puerto Rico.
“The lack that you make me” conveys all the feelings of the singer and everything she has kept in her heart this past year, highlighted a statement from the artist’s office.
In addition, it is a “doubly special” release since the original art was created by an inmate from the same jail where Pina is being held and shows a tear on Natasha’s face.
Natti Natasha revealed that the Dominican producer Polo Parra contacted her via social networks and He sent her several videos with the bachata production.
The singer “loved” the idea and when Parra sent her the final version, she decided to meet with him to conclude the production of the song.
The artist’s office highlighted that Natasha, using an authentically Dominican genre such as bachata, gives a new twist to this song that “He conveys everything he has gone through in one of the most difficult moments of his life” since the “temporary separation of the couple” a year ago.
The original version was produced by the Mexican and ASCAP Award-winning Composer of the Year, Joss Favela, and is by him and Natasha.
The Dominican interpreter premiered the theme on the stage of the Latin American Music Awards 2023 with a presentation “that left the entire public breathless” present. Before that, she launched the “hot” single and video “Algarete” on her official page.
