The fire incident took place during the second innings when the Hobart Hurricanes team was on the field for a run chase. As seen in the video, a flame suddenly started rising near the DJ area. The ground staff quickly responded and attempted to extinguish the fire, while security personnel also arrived at the scene.
After some time, the fire was brought under control, and the match resumed. At the time of the incident, four overs had been bowled in the second innings. Fortunately, the fire was not severe, and no accidents occurred.
