Mumbai Indians Dominate UP Warriors with Nat Sciver-Brant's All-Round Show

Mumbai Indians have crushed the UP Warriors by 8 wickets, and what a game it was! Nat Sciver-Brant was absolutely phenomenal, playing an unbeaten half-century innings of 75 runs, and to top it off, she picked up 3 crucial wickets in the bowling department. The UP team managed to scrape together 142 runs, which Mumbai Indians surpassed with ease, finishing with 18 balls to spare. Brant’s 75 and opener Hayley Matthews’ 59runs were the standout performances for Mumbai. Captain Deepti Sharma was the lone warrior for UP, taking wickets but ultimately unable to turn the tide.

From the get-go, the UP Warriors struggled to find their footing. Only Grace Harris and Vrinda Dinesh showed some spark, but the rest of the team faltered, with 7 out of 11 batsmen failing to even reach double figures. This comes as a surprise, especially after their thrilling win against RCB in the last match, which went down to the wire in a super-over.

Mumbai Indians, the 8th Wonder

The team’s performance was nothing short of remarkable, with every player bringing their A-game. The coordination and strategy were spot on, making them a force to be reckoned with in the tournament.

Mumbai Indians Sit Atop the Points Table

In the previous match, Delhi Capitals had taken the top spot in the WPL 2025 points table after defeating their opponents. However, Mumbai Indians are now closing in, with 6 points under their belt. Thanks to their superior net run-rate compared to Delhi, they’ve secured the top position. It’s shaping up to be an exciting contest, and fans are eagerly waiting to see how the rest of the tournament unfolds.
