Mourinho Walks Off Bench Early Amid Heated Halftime Player Clash

Football manager José Mourinho departed his team’s bench before the end of the first half following a heated on-field altercation between players.

The incident occurred in the closing moments of a goalless opening period, as tensions between the two sides escalated significantly. Referee João Pinheiro was forced to intervene to calm the dispute.

The confrontation began after a tough tackle by Sudakov on Samu sparked a heated exchange among players from both teams. Prestiani and Miguel Maga were reportedly the most vocal during the argument.

Amidst the confusion, Mourinho headed to the locker room without waiting for the first-half injury time to conclude. Pinheiro subsequently issued two yellow cards to address the situation.

The match continued for several more minutes after the referee’s intervention, with Mourinho notably absent from the bench. No goals were scored during the eventful first half.
