Motorola has unveiled its new Moto G100 smartphone in China, emphasizing a massive 7,000 mAh battery and updated hardware designed for affordability and extended usage.
The device is set to launch on October 23, 2025, targeting consumers seeking a robust experience at an accessible price point. It features a starting price of 1,399 Chinese Yuan, which converts to approximately $192 USD for the base model.
Powering the Moto G100 is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, a 4-nanometer processor introduced in 2023. This octa-core chip includes four ARM Cortex-A78 cores clocked up to 2.40 GHz for performance and four ARM Cortex-A55 cores at up to 1.95 GHz for efficiency.
The smartphone also supports 30W fast charging for its large battery. It will be available with up to 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage.
The Moto G100 features a Full HD+ LCD IPS display with a 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals. A 32-megapixel front-facing camera is integrated into the display.
On its rear, the device houses a 50-megapixel main camera alongside an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens. It runs on the Android 15 operating system.
The smartphone carries an IP64 rating, providing protection against dust and splashes. Motorola will begin sales through Lenovo’s Chinese website. The release marks an upgrade from the 2021 version of the Moto G100, bringing modern specifications to the line.
