In Santiago, he said, work is being done rapidly in the Monorail works that he estimates will be finished by the second quarter of next year and in the cable car, which will be ready at the end of this 2023.
He said that in Santo Domingo work is being done on the project to double the capacity of Metro line 1, which he estimates will be ready in the middle of this year, and on the extension of line 2-C to Los Alcarrizos, which will be completed in 2024.
He stressed that, in addition to large investments, the government is also makingor small works where they are most neededthrough the territorial cohesion fund, supporting the local governments of the 50 poorest municipalities and municipal districts in the country to change the lives of their people.
