Arjun Rampal publicly commemorated his late mother, Gwen Rampal, on her seventh death anniversary. The actor shared a series of unseen and memorable photographs and a touching video on his Instagram handle.
He included an emotional note with the post, stating, “Mom, it’s been seven years, I miss you every day.” Rampal urged his followers to cherish and respect their parents, calling them “the luckiest people.”
The video montage includes a collection of special moments with his mother. It features photographs from his childhood through more recent memories. The soundtrack for the emotional tribute is Elvis Presley’s “Home is Where the Heart Is.”
Gwen Rampal passed away on October 27, 2018, after a battle with cancer. Rampal previously shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) detailing her fight against the disease. He described the challenges they faced during her treatment.
In the video, Rampal stated, “Cancer has become an epidemic these days. My mother was treated, she recovered, but after 10 months, cancer spread to her lungs. Then, with the help of my friend, we went to the Champalimaud Foundation in Lisbon.”
Looking ahead, Arjun Rampal is set to appear in the upcoming thriller film ‘Dhurandhar’. The movie features Ranveer Singh in a leading role. Aditya Dhar directs this espionage action-thriller.
The ensemble cast for ‘Dhurandhar’ also includes Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Khanna, and R Madhavan. The film was announced in July 2025 and is scheduled for release in cinemas on December 5, 2025.
