Director Mohit Suri extended birthday wishes to “Sayonara” actress Aneet Padda, who celebrated her 23rd birthday on October 14. Suri, who helmed the blockbuster film, shared a personal photo with Padda on his social media.
In his post, Suri affectionately referred to Padda as his “star.” He shared an image of himself kissing her head, accompanied by a heartfelt message.
“Happy Birthday my star @aneetpadda! Thank you for lighting the way… always love #happybirthdayaneetpadda #allaboutlastnight,” Suri wrote.
Padda gained widespread recognition for her role in “Sayonara,” where she starred alongside Ahan Pandey. The film, released on July 18, is a remake of the 2004 Korean movie “A Moment to Remember.”
“Sayonara” tells the story of Krish Kapoor, a struggling musician played by Ahan Pandey, who falls in love with Vaani Batra, portrayed by Aneet Padda. The film garnered positive reviews from both audiences and critics, with particular praise for the lead actors’ performances. It later became available for streaming on Netflix starting September 12.
